This cabin will immerse you in the magic of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wildlife abounds as you look out on mesmerizing views that surround your stay. You will find yourself relaxing in a home that mixes the modern conveniences you have to come to expect with view enhancing construction that invites you to disconnect and reconnect with life.
The cabin features three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds in a soothing atmosphere. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs. One room is outfitted with a Queen sized bed and the larger room has a King sized bed. Both bedrooms share a spacious hallway bathroom. The upstairs Primary bedroom has a King Sized bed and an attached full bathroom.
The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking and cleaning easy and convenient. Fire up the outdoor grill to treat the whole family to the perfect steak.
Wind down in the cozy Living room while watching your favorite movie, show, or sporting event on the 55 inch HD smart TV. The large sofa, and Reclining chair allows the whole family space to lounge and plan for the next big adventure.
The upstairs loft sitting area features Rocking Chairs overlooking the gorgeous view.
Outdoor Security Cameras are on the premises which monitor entrances and exits to the home and property/driveway. As our Hot tub is close to our back entrance, it is in line of sight of the camera.
After a full day of taking in all the many sights and visits to the surrounding towns, you can make some time for yourself on the spacious deck. Relax in the large outdoor hot tub or kick back on the deck; both offering a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.
As day becomes dusk you will be treated to the forest hymns as the indigenous wildlife of the Blue Ridge Mountains welcomes you home.

*Due to numerous guest requests, We have begun to allow up to 6 adults at the cabin. (Was a max of 4) If you have a larger party, please understand that our living and dining area are small and does not have comfortable seating for 6 adults. Also, the hot tub does not accomodate 6 adults. Quiet time is 11pm until 7:30am. Please be respectful of our neighbors while using the Hot Tub in the evenings.

*If you are traveling with pets, there are other homes in the area that welcome their visit. We do not allow any animals in our home. Please respect our wishes so that everyone can enjoy our cabin. If we are notified by housekeeping that an animal has been present, we will assess fines accordingly.*

-The weather in WNC can on rare occasions be inconvenient and difficult to predict. Please monitor weather forecasts as you get closer to your stay and during your stay as well. We highly suggest travel insurance through VRBO to protect your vacation investment in case of cancellation due to weather or unforeseen illness, etc. We have a Moderate Cancellation Policy. Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check in will get back 100% of the amount they have paid. Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before check in will receive 50% of the amount they have paid. Outside of this policy, we can not offer any refunds for cancellation due to inclement weather, unforeseen Illness, etc.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Windy Ridge was the perfect home base for us as we explored western North Carolina. Jennifer was so gracious and easy to reach, which was a relief after our flight was canceled. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful view, great house

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property! It is exactly as described in the description and photos! The view is amazing, and the house was very clean and cozy! Lots of activities close by to keep yourself busy but also a great big porch if you just want to hang out and enjoy the views! Would definitely recommend!

Short mid-week getaway

My wife and I took my mother-in-law to the mountains for a quick mid week getaway to apple country. The house was absolutely amazing and the views did not disappoint! This was our first stay, but definitely will not be our last!

Incredible view, adorable house

The property was just perfect for our inaugural visit to North Carolina! The view was amazing and the house was renovated nicely. We appreciated the hot tub being included with our fees, rather than a separate daily charge.

Hidden gem in Hendersonville

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The place is kept very clean and organized by the hosts. We enjoyed the nearby trails and the amazing views from the cabin. The hot tub was our favorite spot after a long day visiting Biltmore estate. The great comfort and smooth communication provided by the hosts made our stay quite special and memorable. 100% recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Windy Ridge. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party of five. We can’t wait to book another stay here. And the view was spectacular!!!

Splendid view

Spent our week with coffee in the morning on the deck, wine in the evening. Pleasant breeze, cool temperatures, paved road and good internet, what else can you want.

MORE than just the FANTASTIC view

This is our favorite VRBO we ever stayed at. Can't beat the location. Very very private, quiet, no traffic, extremely clean and nice! Certainly not your cheapest of everything rental. Easy communication with the host. I can't think of enough good things to say. All of us kept commenting that it was the perfect.

Nice place to relax near Hendersonville

Lovely property. Could use another lounge chair in living room area. Hot tub was nice but seemed to have lots of bubbles… probably could have used a little more water. Kitchen was well equipped. All in all a good place to stay. Would recommend it to a friend.

Awesome place to stay!

Windy Ridge was a beautiful place! We would have coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains every day! We are always eating out on vacation, but the view and hot tub allowed us to want to have a couple meals grilling. I slept better than I have in a long time. I need to find a set of those sheets! You are close to Hendersonville and Chimney Rock, and 40 minutes from Asheville. Plenty to do in the area! We were never bored and the house gave us a nice place to relax after a long day. The hot tub was a bonus! The house is very well apponted and not far from Ingles Market for provisions. You can stop at any orchard for fruit along the way. Jennifer was great to deal with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quiet getaway in the Mountains

We booked this house prior to Hurricane Helene. House was in great shape...super cozy, yet the high ceilings made it feel spacious. Kitchen was stocked and we even took advantage of the outdoor grill. Our 7 y/o son took the loft which turned into his young man cave...he loved it! The whole family appreciated the hot tub. Only downside was that several hiking trails were not accessible due to damage from the hurricane. A small hiccup compared to the devastation that so many residents nearby endured. Definitely would recommend exploring downtown Hendersonville....super cute town! Additionally we checked out Sierra Nevada and New Belgium breweries....both did not dissapoint. Downtown Asheville is a vibe all it's own. We had fun exploring and soaking in the culture. WNC Strong!

The view was the icing on the cake!

We were incredibly pleased with our stay at the windy ridge! Communication was excellent from the host. Property was exactly as advertised, great location being private and secluded while also being within 20 minutes of anything you may need via the town of Hendersonville. Gas stations within 10 minutes. The home was fully stocked upon our arrival, and beautifully clean! Driveway belonging to the property was in perfect condition, as if new. Private road leading to the home was perfectly suitable as well. Would recommend and would rent again! Thanks for the experience!

The perfect getaway!

We went with my family of four and my husbands grandparents and it was a lovely time. The house is small but it’s perfect for getting away from the big craziness of home. My kids claimed the upstairs as their own which was a very exciting thing for them. The house had a stunning view and was very well kept. My only complaint would be there is no pantry so we had to store food on the counters which is a little annoying to me personally but not a deal breaker by any means. The owners of the house were incredible, I talked with Jen numerous times before and during our stay. She was always prompt to respond, was sweet and easy to talk to. She even asked if we wanted to add more days after someone canceled, I would have said yes but we were headed to Gatlinburg. I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience!
