Room smelled like body odor, asked front desk to spray freshener but it still smelled. Ended up buying Lysol to get rid of the smell. Breakfast NOT included $12 per person.

I want a refund from this hotel. There was no power. They wanted to have us and our dog on the 4th or 5th floor. They had no keys available. I got a room at the Hit Lyon Garden Inn in Bristol, VA instead. I want a refund.

Well, they had no electricity for the Wi-Fi and the smoke alarms went off for about 15 minutes and the fire department showed up as soon as we got here, so that was not pleasant

It was great! The reception hostess (on 12-31-23) was so very pleasant to deal with; we laughed, talked about a multitude of issues. Nice new place. Bar area is nice and outdoor area with fire pits is so much better than having a pool. $12.99 breakfast buffet was okay, but not much different than the free buffets at other less pricey places. I’d go back.

BLACK Mold in the shower head!!!
I can't believe it! I never had this kind of experience using the hotel. We arrived at this hotel after long driving with heavy rain last Monday (12/26). I intentionally reserved a room with a detached showerhead. When I tried to shower, I changed the water to the detached shower head and found a black thing on the shower floor and I didn't recognize this well in the first place. I thought there was some dust on the floor. Well, it is still weird to see black things in a used bath. When I tried to change the water flow setting, I saw more black things coming off with water and I looked at the shower head and freaked out. All BLACK mold is in the shower head!!!! This is not acceptable. I'm glad I was the first one trying to use shower. My husband just recovered Pneumonia and thinking about it if he used the shower without knowing this. This is safety issue with allergies or respiratory problems. So disappointed Hilton Garden Inn. They seem never to ever clean or check this detached shower head. I would not recommend this hotel!
