"We have been travelling through France for the last ten days and it was one of the nicest places we have stayed at and would highly recommend it. Audrey the manager was so helpful and spoke perfect English. Everything was home made, perfect for us."

"Lovely location in the old square which our room overlooked. Friendly staff, good sized room. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. "

"We had a wonderful stay for several days and found everything to be excellent. The room was cool (during a heat wave), comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfasts were superb, and the use of the well-maintained pool was a welcome bonus."

"Fantastic setting. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great and really enjoyed the pool, playing golf and going for walks or a cycle. Dog friendly made a big difference as we drove so we could bring the dog with us. Very relaxing stay La Bretesche."

"Hôtel tout simplement magnifique de la réception avec un personnel très accueillant au lieu qui est vraiment superbe ! Recommandation +++"

"Nice clean and comfortable room near the beach/sea. Very small room on 3rd floor but had assistance with luggage up and down. Unfortunately was there during heatwave and although room had a fan it still was incredibly hot! Food was good at restaurant."

"Perfect place to stay very close to Rochefort. The bungalows are amazing with all the comforts of a normal apartment. "

"The BnB was super nice. The rooms are newly renovated and are super clean. The breakfast is included in the price (French style breakfast) and is delicious. The hosts are very nice, have us a lot of tips and made our trip very enjoyable. "

"Room was very clean and comfortable, amazing views of the beach and ocean. If the hotel carpark is full there is free public parking across the road from the hotel. Will be coming back. "

"We had a superb stay at the hotel, incredible staff, food and location. Would definitely go back 👌"

"Centrally located friendly business hotel with free parking and good draft beer !"

"Good clean hotel ideal for a short stop over. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"Quick check in/out process, friendly staff and clean rooms"

"Quiet, excellent welcome. Nice room (red room) but if you’re tall, maybe aim for one of the others. Great pool. "

"Hotel with a bed for the night, restaurant was closed so a long walk to the nearest place to eat."

"Helpful owner/manager, comfortable bed, heating can be controlled by guest."

"Location opposite main rail line was excellent -although had safety incident with car which local police handled excellently Worse aspect of stay was the constant bad smell of damp in our room Otherwise good "

"Gorgeous view and most comfortable bed! Lovely bedding, nice terrace, very helpful/friendly staff ! Only issue, was a tile on balcony not fixed that was only outside the door “coulissamte”. If I was to come back to La Baule would definitely stay here again. Also, very nice breakfast! Lots of options and delicious!"
