"This hotel is a historic 'sleeper' and could be an absolutely amazing hotel with appropriate light cosmetic touch-ups and staff training. My room was very spacious and comfortable -- just needed attention to decor and amenities, but I loved it!"

"This hotel was really clean and well kept for the most part. There were a few issues. The sheets were poorly put on the beds, one was put on upside down and didn’t stay on well, the other was not fully put on and was all wrinkled. The one that was put on upside down created a “pocket” that caught my foot when I was getting out of bed and I almost fell. The spa was warm, but the jets didn’t turn on so it was like sitting in a bathtub. Overall the hotel was pretty nice but it would have been nicer if attention was paid to details."

"This place may be better than described! We stayed here while looking for an apartment for our son moving to the area and it was perfect to relax in and regroup after a long day searching. The 2 car garage was a bonus. It could easily host three couples privately for a fun getaway. If you like the spa treatment they have it all. Host easily reachable for any needs and super nice to work with. You won't be disappointed!"

"We stayed for one night. It was very clean inside. The outside lacked attention with thick dirt on the windows, mildew on awnings, and some inappropriate things written on the thick dirt on the windows that our kids pointed out. Spiderwebs on the doorframe were not welcoming. Location was unimpressive- not unsafe, not desirable. Inside was very cute, set up like a diner, first floor apt. Housekeeping was easy to reach, beds very comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the overpowering scent. It was like trying to breathe inside a plug-in and diffuser combined. Because there are no windows that open, it was incredibly difficult to breathe. I put on all the fans, the ACs, the mini split fan to try and reduce the the smell, but honestly it was hard to sleep, I was choking through the perfume scent all night and we left at 7 am to get out as soon as possible to breathe some fresh air. If the owner can get that under control, I would recommend. "

"An oasis! Beautiful and fun. More to do than we got around to. Didnt use the pool, too cold.And had trouble heating the hot tub but Josh answers right away and offers to come help.Its in a strange location. The address also includes an A which is a shipyard. We got there in the dark and a lottle turned around. Probably because we didnt pay close enough attention to Joshs weitten directions. This is a wonderful retreat and we want to come back!"
