Hotel Gibbs has the making of an exceptional boutique hotel in an area (Alamo) that's undergoing transformation. I appreciated the architecture of this place and its possibilities. I promised I would return Fall 2027 and drop another review. Can't give it the 5 star review it could possibly deserve, the room was excellent, view of the Alamo and the chaos that comes with construction. Linens and bed are top notch. I noted air vents needed cleaning..bathroom and toiletries, excellent. I did get the corner room at excellent price.
