"Located mid way between Arromanches and Asnelles over looking Gold beach. A short walk to either. Good routes for cycling, as we did, but there are a couple of decent hills either direction. Plenty if beach activities to keep all entertained. Now home and missing waking up to the sound of the sea and overlooking the beach. "
"The staff was super nice and very accommodating. We really enjoyed having drinks in the parlor before heading out to dinner in town - which was a short and pleasant walk. "
"We stayed in a small room with a lovely view of the Arromanche beaches. The location of this hotel provided wonderful access to Normandy D day landing sites, museums and cemeteries. It is directly across from the recently renovated Museum de Debarquement in Arromanche. We lived out of our suitcase as there was no dresser or closet. Despite this limitation, we had a wonderful time during the 3 day stay. The front desk was very accommodating, letting us check in at 1pm on the date of our arrival. They also let us use a parking spot in the employee parking, although this is not generally available. We enjoyed the meals in the restaurant so much that we had breakfast and dinner there for all 3 days. It was both a historic and romantic accommodation. We definitely want to return!"
"Had a really good holiday, location fantastic, very close to a really good beach and the touristic locations not far away.Inside provided all that was necessary, very comfortable. However, first sighting disappointing, garden unkempt, requires some TLC, not really suitable for children. What issues we had, we communicated directly with the owners."
Summer house with 3 main rooms 42m2 with sea view.
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely spot and just right for 2 people. Was very clean but a little basic. Located right next to beach in a lovely town. Used it as a base for all the WW2 and Cherbourg visiting as just off N13.The host was very friendly but English is not very good. However we got all the info we needed and there are signs to help.Would definitely stay again. If planning on using beach you will need more towels."
