Arrived late due to flight, but nonetheless welcomed and despite the hour was provided with a delicious dinner, and all with a smile. This is a rural hotel (don’t expect “sophistication“) and off the beaten track. However a gem in the Tenerife countryside. Delightful.

Property was in the hills on a very narrow twisty road. Rooms were fine and the food we had was very good for what we paid . Pool area and surrounds are not been looked after. Would me nice if there was a better evening menus as most people who stay need to eat here as there is no where else to eat .

Ok for 1 night
Arrived at 2:30 pm nobody on site to greet, had to make a call asking how we gain access to our room. No information in room regarding how to get a simple bottle of water. We ate the set meal which was the only option which was quite nice but the red wine had been rebottled with a cheap wine which was charged 15 euros. We did sleep well but glad we only stayed the night.

A rural idyll.
A rustic experience and a very friendly establishment. Excellent breakfast. Approach road is VERY steep and narrow but rewards with a an excellent view to the coast.

Hotel was in a lovely rural location (as the name suggests), close to Arona and a car is a must. The hotel was just photos, the staff and owners were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was continental style with, a selection of cereals, cold meats & cheese, fruit, yoghurts, fresh breads, muffins and Maderia cake. Evening meals were available and they were delicious home cooked meals using fresh local produce, portion sizes were very generous

Remote, picturesque, disappointing food
We have mixed feelings! The hotel staff are extremely nice people and the views are fantastic. However, it is remote and up steep lanes which made us want to have dinner at the hotel to avoid night time driving. Dinner, while home cooked, is not very good - a bit like going to a friend's whose cooking is just about ok. As with friends, it's hard to complain when they are so nice but we didn't enjoy the food except for our dinner on the last night. If each meal could have been that good we would have been much happier there. If you are not so concerned about dinner, it's a charming group of buildings. Our room had a nice terrace and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also pretty good with a choice of fruits, yoghurts, cheese, cold meats and eggs however you like them done. Some tripadvisor comments about roads are a bit unfair as anywhere off the beaten track in Tenerife is going to involve steep hills. If you want to avoid the really killer turn, switch off the sat nav at Arona village and follow the main road past the garage and take the second on the right about half a mile up the hill - it's a hairpin turn and you need to be in first gear. The hotel is signposted on this corner and at the remaining turns - the road is called Fermin...something!
