"Everything was amazing!! The property itself is beautiful and clean, the staff is so kind and helpful and the breakfast was great! Perfect town to stay in, and asking distance to the beach and cute shopping and dining options. 10/10 recommend!"

"Lovely property, plenty of space ,had everything we needed and in a lovely location 5-10 min walk to beach ,town and restaurants ....Only down point is could of done with shade cover on roof top like in the photos ...no bbq on roof and spiral staircase to reach not so good for a toddler .....bits of the property looked tired but none of this should put you off a lovely property"

"Overall a good rental. Property management is clear with what is and isn’t included and was available from time of booking until checkout. Nice for a large family with ample bath and bedrooms, pool and basement gameroom. The issue is that this isn’t “ocean view” or “new” as stated in the listing. I would describe the property as a bit tired which is fine, had the listing not said “new”. "

"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

"We stayed in this nice apartment for 3 weeks in February 2025 . It is in a fantastic location close to the beach and close to lots of excellent restaurants and bars, it also has an excellent sea view from its small but adequate balcony.The bed is comfortable and the shower room is good .The kitchen area is small but has all you need for simple cooking .However I must mentioned the electrical supply it is outdated and in desperate need of upgrading . It was constantly tripping out whilst I was cooking or when my wife was using the hairdryer these are just two of the many instances of the many issues we had "
