We had a lovely stay here. The location was close to everything, the room was lovely, the staff were helpful and we loved to chill out on the rooftop and watch the hummingbirds after a long day out sightseeing.

This is a beautiful hotel just a few short blocks from the Plaza de Armas (so close, but quiet). Excellent front desk service, great breakfast on the rooftop terrace with Misti in the background. Best hotel we’ve stayed in our three weeks in Peru.

Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend.

Fabulous stay

Great stay. Staff our lovely and friendly. Rooftop area is fabulous with amazing views of volcanoes. Breakfast was great . Pool on rooftop is very small , tucked away and I doubt ever used ( cover was on for whole of our stay ) Be aware that the balconies are small and with no view so not worth paying extra for . Overall a wonderful stay and would come back .

Beautiful hotel, very close to Arequipa main square. The sun terrace/restaurant area is very pretty with flowers, hummingbirds & stunning views of the volcanoes. Housekeeping are wonderful, with fresh bedding & towels everyday, plus refillable glass water bottles. Quiet hotel, some music noise from nearby but not til late so no problem. Large supermarket only a few minutes walk. Our only issue was that the beds in the 2 roons we stayed in were quite hard, as were the sofas. But overall we would recommended Palla Hotel for a stay in Arequipa.

The hotel is beautiful, constructed from sillar stone—a material sourced from the nearby volcano. The building is immaculate, featuring a stunning rooftop with amazing views of the main volcanoes. Our room was very comfortable and clean. However, there is room for improvement in hospitality. While the staff was kind, they could be more proactive—offering assistance with restaurant recommendations, calling a taxi, and similar services. During our stay, my husband tripped on a step and, to avoid falling, put his hand on the counter by the bar/kitchenette on the first floor. As a result, he accidentally broke a vase, which was located in the very corner of the counter. I felt the staff was more concerned with cleaning up than ensuring he was not hurt by the glass. They then wanted to charge us for two vases, even though only one was broken. I am happy to pay for the damage, but a little empathy would have been appreciated. After the incident, I felt as though we were being watched too closely. On our first day, the staff was kind and offered us tea while we waited for check-in. Overall, this is a good hotel, but the staff—although friendly, hardworking and kind—could benefit from better training, especially in customer service.
