I've been to Peru five times in the last 10 years. This is my favorite hotel in Arequipa. The Monasterio de Santa Catalina is across the street, and my favorite restaurant, TANTA, is a block away. Perfect location.

A disappointing lack of care for their guests

We upgraded our room to a suite with a king bed. The room was tired but the bed was ok. The room was overlooking a nice piazza which we thought would be a nice touch. We had a choice to get one not overlooking the piazza but not knowing any better of what was to come we chose that one. We had two nights in that room with spontaneous parties taking place on the piazza till early hours (4-5am) which you felt you may as well be a part of as the windows in the room were not soundproof. It is a shame that when we were given a choice we were not told about the very noisy piazza outside. We went to the reception to change the room but the other suite was no longer available so the receptionist promptly suggested an upgrade to another suite otherwise the only available option was a shabby twin room which we took because we didn’t want to pay any more money to this hotel. We expected that an upgraded suite should be offered without extra payment but to suggest we should pay even more for this tired hotel was definitely not what we wanted to do. There was also no acknowledgment of our complaint. It was like “well it is what it is what do you want me to do about it”. We thought that staff could get police to disperse the party. Breakfast is very basic and in all honesty we would say don’t bother even to go up for your ‘one egg’ as that’s apparently the hotel policy. The rest is very basic, in small quantities and not topped up quickly enough.

Très bel hôtel et bien situé

Très bel hôtel, de belles prestations, magnifique toit terrasse, par contre la chambre au premier prix 302 qu’ils m’ont donné se trouve juste au niveau du compteur électrique de l’ascenseur. Et du coup ne comptez pas faire une sieste ou une grasse mat car le compteur fait du bruit

Me encantó el hotel, la bóveda de la casona es muy impresionante. La atención del personal de recepción hasta el servicio de desayuno, todo estuvo impecable. Tienen ascensor y una terraza con una vista espectacular. Y todo está súper cerca del hotel.

El hotel muy hermoso, la construcciones de sillar genia. Las habitaciones limpias y bonitas, el sedayuno excelente, y las vistas de los volcanes desde la terraza son de extraordinarias. El personal muy atendto me brindaron asistencia en todo, traslado del hotel hacia el aeropuerto hasta tours para conocer la ciudad. Todo increible, muy buena experiencia.

Las instalaciones del hotel son muy bonitas. la ubicación muy céntrico, el lugar es super turístico por su construcción en sillar. La amabilidad del personal, me ayudaron en todo.
