"A beautiful property in a peaceful setting, right by the water. Chris and Luisa were amazing hosts. Quick to respond, helpful, and courteous. Their home is lovely. Comfortable and cozy with lots of thoughtful little touches. It feels like you're a world away from everything, but it's only about a 45-minute drive to Portree, Highly recommend!"

"Taransay Cottage is a dream! Our second stay here. We feel so at home with everything in the cottage needed to ensure we have the best time no matter the weather. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to the most beautiful beaches. Stunning sunsets. Great to order freshly made pizza from Croft 36 just across the road!A few minutes drive to have the best fish and chips washed down with Great beer and wine at The Brewery on The Pier Leverburgh. Played 9 holes golf on what must be one of the most scenic golf courses. Walked a different beach every day.Only slight issue was the matress was a bit too soft for us and we didnt ever manage to work out how to turn on the radiator in the bathroom for drying towels but there is a tumble dryer so it wasn't a real issue. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you."

"This accommodation was excellent. It was ideally located for us, as we had a hit list of locations all over Lewis as well as on Harris. The cottage was clean, warm when required and had a well equipped kitchen. (How often do you see digital kitchen scales provided)! The beds were comfy, There was plenty of storage . And the house felt relaxing. Oh, and the view! The view from the back of the house was spectacular. I thoroughly recommend this accommodation."
