"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all...

"8 travellers (1 couple and 6 individuals) stayed overnight on our journey through the white hill towns of Spain. The 7 bedrooms were perfect for us. 6 had AC, and there were 3 full baths. 2 on the first floor where only one bedroom was located, so it was nice to have 3 showers. "The location of the property was beautiful as was the layout of the house. Miren was lovely, easily accessible, helpful and friendly. The views from the house were simply gorgeous!!! Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. Most of the beds were comfortable and clean. The room with the bunk beds, however, had a very strong smell of mold and I don't think it would be healthy for someone to sleep in it. The mold smell was pervasive in the entire villa - but with windows and doors open it...

It is a typical old Spanish townhouse in a small village in a beautiful location. It is not a luxury place in any way. Everything is very old and dusty. "Arcos de la Frontera was amazing. The small city streets really add to its charm. The apartment was perfectly located and really felt like a local living there. There were only the 2 of us so really only used the main floor but the upstairs bedroom with its private bath which is accessed via a spiral staircase would be perfect for additional people. The place was huge for its location. For those staying there, hope you like hills because theres a lot of them. Having the available parking space...

"We enjoyed our stay in this unique house. Gaucin is a beautiful, friendly and peaceful village. The views over the valley are stunning. The kitchen has a lot of the basics many other properties do not have - spices, oils, teas, tinfoil, etc., which we appreciated. Be prepared for several flights of stairs - good exercise after eating out in the lovely restaurants! We would definitely visit again."
