"The hotel is ok. It had pros & cons. The rooms are dated, but very clean. Staff was helpful & attentive. AC worked better in some rooms than others. We asked to change rooms because our initial room was directly underneath the breakfast room. It was impossible to rest after 6AM from the sound of moving furniture above us. But, the staff was accommodating & gave us a room with better AC & no noise. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was disappointing. Many ultra-processed carbs & bad machine coffee. The spa was a nice place to retreat in the afternoons & we enjoyed the pool. However, I was not anticipating a charged every time I wanted to use the facilities, especially when the steam room does not work. It should be complimentary. The location was good. They have a garage 1 block way for parking available upon request for a fee. Overall, I expected more from this property & not sure I can fully recommend it."

"On the positive, It was pet friendly. The pool was big with many transats around. The set up of the rooms around the pool makes it noisy for a siesta or for sleeping early morning because they vacuum the swimming pool early in the morning. As for the room, the floors were not cleaned for the long of our stay. The shower head was broken and kept on falling."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better location in Alghero’s historic old town. Situated right in the heart of the center, this beautiful apartment had everything we needed. It offered the perfect balance: a vibrant street close to all the action, yet pleasantly peaceful. The apartment was spacious enough for our family of four to stay comfortably. It is charmingly decorated and equipped with every amenity. Being just a couple of minutes' walk from the main bus hub made exploring the amazing beaches up and down the coast completely hassle-free. It’s also just a short stroll to the harbour for boat trips, including a visit to the incredible, underrated Neptune's Grotto—a absolute must-see! We didn’t need to hire a car, though there is plenty of parking nearby if you do. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed well before we even arrived, answering practical questions and offering great local advice (most of which we followed!). Upon arrival, she gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had all the insider tips to get the most out of our stay. She was also exceptionally accommodating with our early check-out on the final day. We had the most amazing week. There was nowhere we would rather have stayed - thank you. Highly recommended!"

"We arrived and were told there was a problem with an aircon, but will be sorted within a day. We came for 10 nights, after couple of days there was no communication from reception regarding the air con, was super hot, after few days we asked for a fun , were told they don’t have it. On the fourth day we got the gin, on the fifth day air con finally worked. There was a change of game, so much better,shame we lost half of our stay without air con. Breakfast was every day the same ,literally no changes, hot food were tasteless . One day we asked chef to cook to order poached eggs , they were awful :(breakfast finishing at 10a.m, on the dot they clean everything so be aware, even we came once 9:45 and there was not much left, as they haven’t refilled anything .Staff not too friendly ( apart of the cleaners as they were super nice) bar staff ignoring guests , I did wait 10 min ,and there were like four bar staff ,one other guest ,and no one even acknowledge me, like I was not there. Loads don’t speak English , so difficult to communicate also .Disappointed and would not go back there , as lack of friendliness ,communication,helpfulness and not flexibility with guests being on holidays ."

"Lovely stay in Alghero despite the heat wave. Davide is a wonderful host - as a native of the area who clearly has refined taste, he had impeccable tips, so we ate and drank at wonderful places. We especially liked gioia for coffee and light breakfast, Aragon for a wonderful set lunch, sa mandra (you must book way ahead), the lovely nearby prosciutteria, the beach bar for amazing views and drinks. Actually every place we went was great - all Davide's recommendations. The room was very comfortable. Parking nearby on the street about 100m away was very straightforward. You are right in the thick of things in the old town but as others mention, the triple glazing means you don't hear it. Would totally recommend Alghero and staying here."
