"The bed was so comfy. Also great pillows. I was tempted to steal one. ;-) Staff at the front desk recognized me as a female solo traveler, and asked if I might be more comfortable in the main building, as opposed to the motel style annexes. I appreciated the check-in person was so attuned. "

"The host, Rick Hicks, was so understanding and hospitable. The accommodations were beyond belief. The area is quiet and surrounded by farm animals. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The only thing that was questionable, was just before we got to the cabin there is a sign that states, "this is a private drive, do not enter. " So someone may question if they would be in the right place."

"We drove 75 miles to the hotel just to be told we could not stay there because we lived 50 miles from the area. (It is in fact 75 miles per our map) the guy at the desk seemed uninterested in telling me why this was a rule. We had booked the room days in advance so I’m not sure why Red roof did not reach out. Thank goodness the hotel down the road was very thoughtful and let us stay the night there. I had never had this happen before and had stayed in hotels closer to home than 50 miles. We had a wonderful stay at the other hotel so maybe it was just a sign. Just a heads up to anyone."

"The room was dirty, the bathroom door was broken, there were water leaks in the bathroom and the sink! The air conditioner was dirty and piece of broken plexiglass were all over it! This was an econo lodge once we got there! Breakfast was basically a waffle or nothing! The juice machine was broken! Just not what was pictured or described at all!!!"
