"The hotel is within easy walking distance of Christchurch airport The renovated rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The on site restaurant generally serves good meals. The fireplace in the main foyer provides a nice and homely ambience. I have stay here a number of times over the years and will continue to do so."

"I arrived after midnight in Christchurch airport, cleared immigration and customs, and then was able to call the hotel for a pick up with their shuttle, who were very quickly available. The driver had the key and opened the room, which was a bit on the older side, but very adequate, with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each bed was made up and there were towels provided, although there were no extra blankets. I was extremely cold and since it was so late, didn’t really know how to work the heater so I ended up just doubling everything and making do. There was provision to make coffee and even milk provided in the refrigerator. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay near the airport when you are coming or going, and need a shuttle – very convenient."

"Friendly helpful front of house staff greeted us on arrival and helped us out with parking and booking our dinner reservations at Bloody Mary's. Our room was warm and our beds were wonderfully comfortable. The shower water pressure was amazing. A great place to stay, so handy to the city centre."
