"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."

"We stayed with Nicolina for 29 days while I researched my family heritage. Nicolina took excellent care of us. Cleaned our room daily and provided breakfast foods each day. The home made bread and farm fresh eggs were awesome. Our time went by way too fast. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. We will be back. "Very tastful room in a beautiful villa with a great garden. The landlord provided us with a wonderful breakfast and good tips for sights that were off the beaten track. Parking on the ground was free."
