"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Sandman this weekend. The hotel was quiet and within a short walking distance to the Cineplex, restaurants and shopping. The staff were super friendly and gave us a free room upgrade to the premium suite since it was our first time there. We also got late checkout at no extra cost. The Chop Steakhouse inside the hotel was also a nice experience. The staff brought us a free app for being first time diners at that location and the food was great! I will recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet night away."

"I stayed here for 17 nights, so I have a pretty thorough picture of the place. The biggest issue was sleep — or the lack of it. The mattress in my first room had significant sinking, making it impossible to get a decent night's rest. After raising the issue, I was moved to a different room, which was slightly cleaner, but the bed was still uncomfortable throughout the remainder of my stay. For a 17-night visit, this was a real problem. On top of that, I noticed stink bugs and ants in the room, which is never a good sign and something the hotel should be addressing more proactively. On the positive side, the pool appeared well-maintained and clean — a welcome plus. The rooms come stocked with Dove toiletry products, which was a nice touch. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast or happy hour, so I can't comment on those. And to their credit, the staff were consistently friendly and pleasant throughout my stay. Overall, for a short stay the issues might be manageable, but for an extended visit the bed quality and pest concerns made for a pretty uncomfortable experience. Hopefully management takes note."

"Not amazing for sure. Property overall is shabby. Room was not cleaned in the 3 nights I stayed there. Staff pleasant enough but not willing to do to much to assist. The snack offered should not be called “breakfast”. For the $138/night price I guess I expected a bit better quality accommodation, service, and food offerings. There was a concerning incident onsite during my stay resulting in police being called onsite to apprehend a guest. This made me feel unsafe as a female guest and question security of premises. The police were onsite during my stay. I had stayed at Motel 6 a few years ago and had a pleasant experience which is why I returned. However, after this last stay I will not be staying at this motel again"
