Comfortable cottage that is truly accessible.
Comfortable cottage that is truly accessible. Owners available but not intrusive.
Very cosy atmosphere.
Minor criticism was the condition and paucity of kitchen equipment.
Mugs blackened easily, some crockery was badly cracked, only one pan had a lid that fit.
If this was put right cottage would be perfect !

Overall a very peaceful and relaxing location to get away from the busy everyday life.
Lovely; helpful owners, able to recommend plenty places to visit in the area, happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Short drive to the nearest town for a local shop and places to eat or another short drive to Penrith for larger supermarkets etc.
Lovely views and plenty to explore in the area.

A wonderful break, very good value for money and well cared for accommodation make it worthy of our recommendation. It may be lacking local amenities but that's not a problem to us we prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Our first time in the Lake District, the cottage was very comfortable, easy access with a wheelchair
Our first time in the Lake District, the cottage was very comfortable, easy access with a wheelchair, nice wet room with a shower chair. Although the weather was chilly the cottage was very warm. Well, equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The owners were very helpful. The location was great to get to all the attractions of the area, local shops with a fish and chip shop were within easy reach. Intending to return next year to see all the attractions we missed
