Parking is the only issue with this place it was just a little difficult to park my suv so I had to park out on the street

Don’t judge a book by its cover, upon driving up to the hotel, it looked old and dated, however once inside it’s had a great refurbishment , it’s is run by a Chinese manager, who cannot speak much English but was ok using google translate and they do not give hand towels, and air con wasn’t working. But for the price paid, was happy with what we got, local to small town with shops and restaurants.

Property was clean. Staff on duty did not speak English but used his mobile phone to translate. Eating places were close by. Parking is limited by the size of vehicles, but you can park on road as well.

The property management people don’t speak English at all. Was using app to understand and had to repeat many times. There were no face towels or hand towels in bathroom. When requested from the management he did not have a clue what a face towel was. He asked me to accompany him to the room service area and gave me hand towel from there. Did not have the decency to deliver, rather expected I pick it up. When informed the tissue box is empty he first verified it before giving a new one. Such an insult!! The rooms were newly constructed so in good condition but the water was overflowing from shower due to poor construction / planning. Additionally carpet outside the bathroom was drenching wet and he said it was due to previous guest . Which shouldn’t be my problem they should have dried it off before the next guest checked in the next day. The guy would talk to you coming really close to your face with a stinking mouth! Would never stay here again.

It doesn't carry a high star rating but you get what you pay for. It is in a good location - I'll give it that but if you are looking for polished, modern, spic and span accommodation with all the mod cons and conveniences in your room, well you'll need to spend more and not stay here. Let's just say the rooms are functional but pretty basic.

The property is badly managed - damaged bathroom door and overall cleanliness is beyond terrible. There were grass and dirt on the carpet when we arrived. Room was so dirty that we started having allergic reaction. I won’t recommend this place.

Great location opposite the beach! Smooth check in and comfortable stay. Parking on-site a bit limited but abundant roadside parking right outside.

Thoroughly Recommended
Odyssey Apollo Bay is an excellent place to stay. It is close to the ocean and within walking distance of local amenities. Although there was a power cut while we were there, good information was supplied by owners.

The hotel seems old and tired outside but very new inside. Room is modern with necessary amenities. It’s just opposite the beach and is a short walk to the shops and cafe. Good value.

Property is great on the inside. Rooms are very well furnished and clean. Kun the staff member that greeted us and checked us in is very helpful and friendly. Beach across the road, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Definitely recommend for a short stay or overnighter. Don’t be put off by the outside of the property which needs attention.

We had the beach view room, and had a serene sunrise experience. The only thing was the wifi was out and we couldn’t watch much on the TV, but overall, the motel location is pretty good. Right across the beach, and a stone throw away to the eateries, this motel offered much more then what we had expected.
