"Lovely hotel with fantastic family run vibes. Close to the airport and easy enough to organise transport into town if needed. Many animals roaming around. Very clean comfortable rooms, perfect for a layover of a day or two. Lovely home cooked breakfast on site and reasonably priced small restaurant for dinner also available."

"Simple hotel, nothing fancy. I really like the construction, wood and stone. Great looking place. Very clean. Beds are very comfy. The staff was really helpful, checked us in and out at odd hours, arranged transportation when we needed it. Breakfast was delicious. No A/C or fans. If it's hot, you'll be sweating. But that doesn't happen often in Quito. All this for $38 a night!"

"Love this place, close to the airport, nice large outdoor area, so you don’t feel like you’re in a hotel room.You can walk around, do Yoga on the lawn or sit in the little dining area. They also have a sauna & hotub pool that if you let them know you want to go in, they will heat up for you. The price is right for this cute, clean place. And breakfast is included!"

"The room was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful. It is very remote so hiking and horseback riding are the options - what I was seeking. Took in the night sky given the darkness that surrounds. The road from the nearest town to the hotel is in horrible condition but being replaced, at least in part. Highly recommend if you seek a remote, stunningly beautiful experience."

"Loved Hacienda! A beautiful stay only 15 mins from the airport but felt like you were surrounded by pure nature in a different world than the city of Quito. The walk on the trails is stunning, and the history is fascinating to learn how the owners discovered the tunnels on site and the Incan history connected to it. Oscar is so knowledgeable on the history! Beautiful rooms, amazing food, the grounds are so peaceful it’s hard to think you are in Quito, lots of wild coloured birds, so many hummingbirds, 2 beautiful lamas, beds so comfortable and even have electric blanket in case you get cold, the room has a log burner too! Amazing shower and towels, bathrobe and toiletries! I will mention the food again, 5 star!!"
