"The overall stay was alright. We rented a 1 bedroom cabin that had 2 AC units. We kept it at 70ish and when the units kicked on, which was literally every 4-5 min, they would make so much noise it was hard to sleep. I actually woke up around 5am and couldn't go back to sleep with the racket. Speaking of noise, a nearby bar was open till way into the night with live music and the noise made it easily all the way into our cabin's bedroom. All in all my biggest takeaway is that it's noisy and if you have trouble sleeping I might look elsewhere."
"Location was good. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The only thing we thought was pretty marginal, was the TV picture / quality. But that was secondary because we didn’t drive down to the new River Gorge just to watch TV!—"

Fern Creek Cabins @ New River Gorge, Secluded, White Water, Hiking, Hot Tub.
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was warm and inviting. The property is a short drive outside of town and was quiet and serene. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. An added bonus, was to have a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a long day hiking. The cabin also had a fire pit which we enjoyed sitting around in the evening. We had brought our own wood, but there was provided wood at the cabin if needed. The owner was quick to respond with any questions that we had. Our family really enjoyed our stay here."
