The hotel manager personally walked us to the dining room on our first visit, and Nikos from one of the hotel’s impressive restaurants was absolutely amazing. "It’s not an ideal property- it’s on a busy street and sits above a car rental shop with autos displayed in front, and it’s 2 flight walk up to reception (though I’m told there’s an elevator in back of the building). The view is toward a marina and industrial port- not as picturesque as Chania. The room was comfortably spacious and clean, and staff was great! Very close to bunches of restaurants and shops."

"Just spent the last week at Petradi Beach Lounge Hotel and had the best experience! The rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the pool and beach area were absolutely perfect. The best part, though, was the pool bar! Panos and Nikos were so friendly and welcoming, always helpful, made amazing drinks, and truly made Petradi feel less like a hotel and more like home. Can’t recommend this place enough — already can’t wait to come back!"

"We love the royal blue. It’s our third visit to this resort and it doesn’t disappoint. This sister hotel next door royal senses is also great and has water slides which is fun for the family. The beach is also really lovely and great for snorkelling and swimming."

"A wonderful experience at the Syntopia. The staff were friendly and attentive without being formal or overpowering. As an example, the person on reception who checked us in remembered our room number a week later at check out! "We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The service was excellent throughout, with friendly, attentive staff who were always available and made us feel genuinely well looked after. The food was a highlight. We had breakfast each morning and one evening meal, both of very good quality, with a wide selection and plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options. Breakfast wasn’t quite as hot as the evening meal, but was still very good. The restaurant itself is lovely, overlooking the pool. Our room was modern, clean and spacious, with a huge balcony, a lovely hot tub and a great second-floor view of the pool and sea. The bed was extremely comfortable and the lighting system was very useful. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of space and no difficulty finding sunbeds. The beachfront location is a real highlight, with a gorgeous sandy beach and clear blue water. We even managed to get a cabana twice, free for guests of the hotel. The spa and indoor pool were also excellent. We both had massages, which were genuinely very good and better than many hotel spa treatments. The location is great, towards the end of the main strip but with restaurants and bars in every direction. The old town is around a 40-minute walk or 10-minute taxi ride away, and e-scooters & bikes are readily available nearby. We honestly have no negatives to mention, it is a fantastic hotel and an easy recommendation."

"Hotel easy to find, next to large supermarket on a main road, a mile from the cross island route. Some parking, 3 allocated spaces and then on street parking nearby Has a lift but some stairs involved for most rooms. Room was a 2 room apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, with a large Smart TV, oven, hob and fridge. Balcony off each room, large shower room, and plenty of storage space. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool area limited, not enough sunbeds and begins to lose sun from about 3pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 100yds from the massive beach and its safe promenade full of bars and restaurants leading to town, about a mile away. The main road option I would avoid on foot, parked cars and busy junctions."

"This is a good resort with many pools and spa but not on the beach. There is a shuttle that takes you to a small cove across the street but it has limited chairs/sunbeds and can get taken very early. Good food option with a main buffet (excellent choice) and two other restaurants that were not part of the half board. Excellent sunset views from all rooms. Best to get rooms higher up the hill. Rooms are comfortable. Rooms without the pools are bigger actually. We had no hot water for a day which was quite inconvenient as we were supposed to go out for hiking early morning. Showers are messy due to the way they are designed. I don’t like the concept of not having a wash basin in the toilet. But overall a good experience but if you want to be on the beach this is not what you should choose."

"Really enjoyed our stay, my kids loved it. The hotel is lovely and has the most beautiful sunset form our sea view bunglalow and the bar area. The food was great, the all inclusive options were fantasitc and such great value. The cleanliness of the rooms and everywhere was impeccable. Thank you! We will deifnitely be back"
