"The welcome was great. The room was very comfortable and according to the description - a little worn in some places. The bar and restaurant staff appeared very helpful but were slow to take our orders. The hotel was well appointed and very impressive from the outside and the public areas were beautiful. The food was very good. The breakfast was good although the presence of a few flies on the meats and salmon was a little disconcerting. The grounds were beautiful. The spa was nice but the pool small and not really designed for swimming just dipping. The parking was adequate and the concierge were all lovely except one ! and one was indeed very kind to my little dog. Overall a lovely stay and worth 4 stars but with some effort they could achieve 5 stars"
