"Very friendly staff; very welcoming at check in and were helpful when we asked to leave our cases/bags after check out. The room was clean (3rd floor) and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a tad dated but obviously due to the age of the hotel. We stayed mid week so no problems with noise etc. The hotel is ideally sited within 2 min walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Fabulous room on the 2nd floor, clena, very comfortable, everything you would need from a pint of milk to crumpets and butter, a wonderful bed (slept so well) shower and bath with the lovely handwash, shower gel, shampoo etc., I can't wait to stay again, it's very handy for the town centre and the Penny Blue served us wonderful meals"
