"The house was spotless, beds were comfy and the entire atmosphere was cozy. Check in was also very easy and Deepa communicated well before and during the stay. Just an FYI to pet owners, there is a 50 pet fee that I missed somewhere in the details (which is understandable). We were charged the day before we left. Maybe it was mentioned briefly somewhere in the fine print? Not sure. We have no issue paying this, I just didn’t remember reading it anywhere in the listing details. Overall, was a great stay & experience. We’ll definitely be back. "

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect escape from reality. From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much care goes into this cabin. Everything was spotless, welcoming, and so thoughtfully prepared for us.The views are incredible. We loved starting our mornings looking out the windows from the bed or sitting on the patio with coffee. Our afternoons were spent exploring and hiking nearby, and our evenings were shared under the stars relaxing in the hot tub. The copper tub even had us joking about doing a bathroom remodel at home!Our almost 11-year-old border collie, Tux, felt right at home too. We set his bed up in front of the fireplace and he happily kept watch over us and joined in on our little adventures.Thank you a million times over for such an amazing stay and memories that will last a lifetime. "Great location. Pet friendly, and the provided pet dishes were much appreciated. The fireplace was wonderful for taking off the chill. Loved the wrap around porch. Host was very responsive to any questions. "

"The cabin was perfect. Totally secluded and delivered everything that was promised. The outside enclosed porch overlooking the river transcended you. The roar was loud and calming at the se time. It was worth the drive amd cant wait to go back."

"We truly felt at home in The Valkyrie. We wanted to get away and it was the absolute best place to break away from all the hustle and bustle. The cabin was loaded with everything you need and more. I cannot say enough about how much fun we had at this cabin. We made memories that will last a lifetime. The trail down to the river is breathtaking and so peaceful! "
