"We loved this hotel! We stayed for five nights in one of their rooms with a private pool. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the best bed of our whole trip (soft mattress and medium firm pillows!). Their restaurant had great food, we enjoyed two massages, and the staff was beyond lovely! The location was great because it was just outside the busy part of town and the hotel offered transportation into town and the airport. We felt very safe and had the best time!"
"This has been the best Hostel I have stayed in. The staff is so friendly, the activities are fun and only 2$ each. The room is spacious and quiet even so down below was Karaoke going on. The proximity to the Temples and Angkor Wat are great. Also the Bus terminal to the airport only steps away. Take the bus for $8, it is faster than Tuk Tuk and cheaper. "
"The staff were welcoming, kind, and professional. The only feedback we have is that the road is off the main path, and may need to help install some lights to help with visibility at night, and the location to be visible for GRAB drivers for pick up / drop off. Would recommend to friends and family! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!"
"Cute boutique resort aimed at wellness and yoga theme. Nice pools. Somewhat away from the center of actions in Siem Reap but for the purpose for which it got created ie wellness and yoga it may very well be the right location as you are farther away from all kinds of merchandising that goes on around pub street. It really feels like a safe haven. Excellent onsite restaurant which serves tasty food at reasonable price. The included breakfast is plenty and tasty. The entire resort is in a garden like setting with dense vegetation. I even saw a banyan tree. For all those dog lovers there is a resident dog adopted by the resort that will walk around the property. You can identify it by the scarf around its neck. It may stop by your room and give you a curious look that will capture your heart and lift your spirit. It did for me"
"My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place for 9 days. This was our 5th visit to Cambodia and it was definitely the best, due to this resort. The staff is excellent, the food is amazing, and the resort is the best you will find in Siem Reap (Take it from experience - I have stayed at 4 other resorts in this town). Here are three main reasons I feel this resort is superior to all the others:
1. The management is very active here. Most resorts you have no idea who is running anything or where to find them. At Waka Villa, Masao Okabe is the managing director of this resort and takes the time to sit and talk with you. He truly cares about your experience at this resort and what he can do to make it better. I've never experienced anything like this before - it was amazing!
2. All of the staff at this resort were fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. In particular, we had a great experience with Mr. Sum Seam. He knows Siem Reap very well and provided a great experience for us. Everything from transportation, restaurants, and visiting temples was scheduled by him.
3. The food and amenities were exceptional! Unlike other hotels and resorts, Everything is based around your schedule at Waka Villa. Instead of being rushed into a buffet-style breakfast during a certain time (ex. 6am-11am), at Waka Villa they serve breakfast all day long - you get to pick when you show up. The food is prepared by an excellent chef and is fantastic! "
"Very friendly, helpful staff. Great massage that’s very affordable. Food was good. One of the most beautiful, comfortable pool areas. Even on a hot day, very nice. We like the area a bit out of the noise but close. Always tuk-tuks outside."
"Very friendlly and helpful staff. Good selection breakfast. Pretty & spacious room, nice and clean with a good view from your room. Highly recommended!"
