When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the property Very clean and well presented Nice little extras like a bottle of wine in the fridge with supplies for a nice cooked breakfast cupboards stocked with most things you would need We definitely will be staying here again on our next Barossa adventure

Beautiful property in the Barossa, short walk to shops and eateries. Breakfast provided and a bottle of wine! Tastefully decorated, very clean and lots of room. Bathroom is magnificent. Everything we needed was available to us. Perfect for a holiday in the Barossa.

Lovely cottage
My husband and I really enjoy our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and well fitted out. The kitchen essentials are all provided. The washing machine worked well. Communication was excellent. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main commercial area which has groceries, a number of cafes and restaurants. It is easy driving to dozens of wonderful wineries.

Our host was Friendly and accomodating with sone changes. Greatly appreciated. Clean and stocked with some unexpected goodies. Nice outdoor area to relax. A couple of minutes walk yo supermarket and other great cafes in town made the stay supurb. Thanks.

You won’t be disappointed staying in this beautifully maintained house with all amenities you could possibly require for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Angaston gem
Alexandra’s cottage is charming, spotless and well stocked with pantry items. Angaston is my pick of the Barossa towns, and the cottage location is quiet, in a delightful street a short walk from the main street. The lack of internet wasn’t a problem for our short stay, beds are comfortable and kitchen and bathroom are everything you would want. Alexandra is an excellent and responsive host.

We had the best weekend in this amazing and beautiful house. It was cosy and well stocked with amenities with everything you could ever need catered for your stay. What you see is what you get (and more)
This delightful, well appointed cottage lived up to every expectation. It exudes charm and comfort and is cosy to boot. Angaston is a well-serviced town with wonderful restaurants and cafes and well placed for all Barossa activities. I would highly recommend!!

Nestled in the gorgeous town of Angaston, Devitt on French is luxury country accommodation at its best. Check in was easy. Inside is beautifully decorated with a mixture of modern features and antique furniture. The all important bathroom is spacious with an enormous 2 person bath and large rain forest style shower head. The bed is super comfortable and the carpets clean and plush. The country kitchen is well maintained and full of modern appliances. There are plenty of nice touches throughout such as tables set with antique crockery, a nice bottle of Barossa red and breakfast provisions in the fridge. Looking through the guest book it is full of previous visitors praise for the property which tells the story of how nice it really is. Host Alexandra answered any questions promptly via the Stayz app. There is a good selection of eateries and morning coffee in the Main Street of Angaston, only a short 5 minutes walk away. If you are looking for value-for-money luxury accommodation in the heart of the Barossa, Devitt on French is a must.

Beautiful historic home
From the moment you arrive, you know this is going to be a wonderful memorable stay. Beautifully decorated rooms transport you back to grander times. The location to the centre of beautiful Anguston was only a short stroll passed all the gorgeous stone cottages. And it was all the extra touches, the beautiful bottle of wine we enjoyed at the fire pit, breakfast supplies and snacks that settled us straight in. This is a beautiful Stayz home and we’ll definitely be back 💛

Comfy and cosy place to stay
Stayed here for 3 great nights. Property was extremely clean with extra condiments in the pantry which weren't expected. Beds were comfortable and warm on some cooler nights. Location was great as it was a short work to town for several dinner options and an easy drive to get to the many places to see in the Barossa. We hope to come back to the Barossa and stay here again soon.

Great location base to check out the Barossa! Valley
Lovely property to base yourself to check out the Barossa or to even just relax and unwind. Hosts go the extra mile by providing everything you could want for your stay. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in when staying away from home. Would highly recommend this property for your stay.

Cosy Cottage in great location
We had such a lovely stay in this gorgeous cosy cottage. From the luxurious modern bathroom with the ceiling mounted rain shower head and oversize bath to the cosy comfortable rooms and well appointed kitchen every detail has been thought out. The communication before and during the stay was great and any questions were answered swiftly. Alexandra even left the lights and heater on for us on the first night so we came to a warm inviting space from the start. Overall so happy with our stay.

A quaint and blissful stay
The moment you walk in the cottage, you will be in awe at how well preserved the cottage is. No better way to start our holiday. The fine detailed touches and generosity of Alex in keeping the place makes you thankful for places like this and for her. The property is strategically located, groceries, cafés and restaurants are just down the road. At the same time, a perfect location to drive around the Barossa area for lunches and dinner. Morning walks around the area was great and when you return to the cottage you can enjoy the morning sun on the verandah over coffee. We played golf and return to enjoy a nice bath in the large bathtub in the cottage and later dinner in cozy dinning area. Thank you Alex for having us and we can't wait to come back.
