"Upon arrival Mr Fennell was awaiting us and showed us around in the house. He also gave a lot of interesting information and tips for the things we wanted to do. The house was very comfortable and we also enjoyed very much the pleasant garden and the surroundings."

"Ganz einfach gesagt - absolut wunderbar! For all English speakers - absolutely wonderful place to stay for a holiday. If you have not considered Northern Germany, please do. It is a less-traveled place...that begs to be discovered. And if you decide to give it a try, I must recommend this vacation home in the middle of both a vacation neighborhood and in the middle of the Altes Land (amazing history and experience)."

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."

"Kleines Häuschen, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Positiv: kleine überdachte Terrasse mit und kleine Blockhütte zum unterstellen von Fahrrädern. Kleiner Abzug: Bad sehr beengt, Verkehrslärm, da das Haus direkt am Hauptverkehrsweg liegt. Sehr nette Gastgeber."

"It was a very nice stay. Everything was oké. 2 minus: we did not meet the owners and in the advertisment was not mentioned that the appartment was on the top floor."

"Wenn die Unterkunft bei Anreise sauber wäre, der Schmutz unter dem Sofa und in allen Räumen Staub auf den Möbeln,und Dreck auf den Böden und Ecken entfernt worden wäre .Der Wintergarten nutzbar und sauber wäre. Könnte man die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Wenn eine Grundreinigung bezahlt werden muss, sollte sie auch erledigt werden bevor Gäste kommen.Auch eine geforderte Enegiepauschale von 124€ ist total überzogen, es wurde gerade mal für 30€ Wasser und Strom verbraucht. Das ganze sollte doch...
