Charming stopover

Lovely stopover on the way home. Charming hotel with great service. We arrived late but were very well received. Clean and fresh rooms. A bit warm in the summer. An electric fan would have been nice. The village is truly charming and made for a quiet and relaxing visit.

Really enjoyed our stay here travelling back from Norway. We are a family of 4. Lovely to see a bit of rural Germany. Dinner, breakfast and customer service all very good. Dinner service ends at 8.30 (which was no problem for us at all), but worth being aware of if you are wanting food (which I would definitely recommend).

Covered in mosquito bites

The window had no mosquito net, but the room was incredibly warm…we were covered in mosquito bites in the morning. No A/C obviously. We had a dog friendly room as traveling with dogs. Room in the middle of the hallway, so lots of noise from passerbys. A dog friendly room should be at the end of the hallways. Breakfast was ok.

Nice hotel.Good quiet location.lovely grounds. Missed the little extra you would expect with this 'class' hotel,eg coffee,tea availability.nothing available in the room and otherwise not open to buy until 5.30pm. Advertised on hotels.com ...'spa access' .The 'spa' was simply a sauna and you had to ask if you planned to use it, so as they could switch it on😉

Great stay

Very good hotel with helpful staff, nice quiet surroundings for a run or bike ride. Family room with separate bedroom was a plus! Small but functional gym. Possible to charge the car another plus. Great restaurant with fresh food and that extra touch, even had wild boar. Everything felt like a higher standard than we payed for 😄

En riktig pärla en bit från Autobahn

Detta är en riktig pärla en kort resa från Autobahn! Här har vi bott innan och kommer gärna tillbaka. Landgut Stemmen ligger i en lugn liten by. Hotellet har vänlig och serviceminded personal. Rummen är fräscha med sköna sängar. Kvällsmaten fantastiskt god och frukosten likaså. Rekommenderas starkt!
