We have stayed here many times and always the same: friendly and welcoming staff, clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and easy check-in and parking. The location is excellent, walkable to lots of restaurants and cafes, as well as historic sites. Highly recommended!

Great hotel. We had a room opposite the ferry terminal, when the windows were closed dead quiet. Bed, bedding was of great quality. Big bathroom, good strong shower. Very clean. Breakfast was varied with many options. Mini bar with water,juice etc as gifts. We had cycles & they were secure in hotel garage.

A mix of modern and classic. Very cozy and beautiful place. It is very clean and everywhere you are it smells like flowers. The housekeeping does a very good job and the entire staff is very friendly!!! Very high standard property!

Lives up to its reputation!
The hotel is a gem. The most comfortable bed. The staff were gracious and welcoming. Would stay here again, if I’m ever in Ancona.

Only stayed one night in order to catch a ferry to Croatia. The staff was very helpful with information regarding the ferries and the property is very conveniently located to the ferry terminals.

Beautiful Hotel
We were there 2 nights and picked this hotel because it was close to the ferry we were taking the second morning. Very close yo the ferry boarding and kind of a rough looking area but it was very save.The docks do retrofitting of cruise ships and consequently there are a lot of "ship yard" workers, but again very safe. The hotel itself was very clean and exceptionally nice.

The hotel is in a beautiful restored palazzo. WineNot, its restaurant is just off the lobby. We enjoyed breakfast there and had an excellent dinner, trying some regional wines. We had a larger room on this second stay and I can recommend it for the deep, comfortable bath and enormous shower. We also appreciated the espresso machine and free minibar. We asked to leave some shopping packages with our luggage at check out for a later departure. When we returned, the valet had stored everything in our car and it was ready to go. The staff seem to be happy to respond to any request. We live a few hours away, so visiting Ancona and staying in the Grand Hotel Palace is going to be regular treat for us.

Great hotel. Central and classy. Very comfortable room but the people and service is what differentiate it. Everyone went out of their way to provide the best experience, from the breakfast service to the concierge and parking. We had to leave one day earlier than we booked because of a family emergency and they were so nice they adjusted our reservation. We will be back.

The hotel is in an older building that has a lot of character. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Check in was quick. The best part is we were upgraded to a wonder suite. The room is tastefully done and the bathroom is over the top with soaking tub and rain shower.
