Welcome to Coastal Place!

Step into this exquisite custom home where natural light pouring in from surrounding windows illuminates a simple and open living area. 25 foot ceilings in the main living area create an airy and crisp environment that resounds through the whole building.

Walking into the fully equipped kitchen, you'll find stainless steel appliances, modern stove and oven, as well as bright stone countertops boasting generous space for preparing meals. Walk a few blocks and pick up some fresh Alaskan salmon and crab from 10th and M seafoods and enjoy them sitting at an immaculate 6 foot marble dining table. Help yourself to a complimentary waffle breakfast in the mornings with provided waffle grill, mixes, butter, syrup, etc...

New elegant furnishings, mounted flat-screen TV, and gas fireplace in the living room create the perfect setting to unwind. Kick back and relax, choosing a show from Netflix or HBO or your other steaming platform of choice as the fire warms you up. If you would prefer, there are a number of board games for your friends or family to enjoy including Settlers of Catan, cribbage and Apples to Apples.

When you are finally ready to rest your eyes, step into one of the bedrooms and sink into the new, soft and luxurious beds-

The master bedroom upstairs boasts high vaulted ceilings, a luxurious king sized bed (PURPLE brand) with relaxing decor and seating for two. Take a moment to raise the room-darkening shades and enjoy the mountain views from your bedroom before sinking into crisp, clean, white cotton sheets. The master bedroom also enjoys a spacious private bathroom and massive walk in closet where you will find a portable baby crib should you need one.

The guest bedroom downstairs offers an extremely comfortable pillow-top queen sized mattress in a dark wood Pottery Barn sleigh frame. In the closet you will find a luggage rack as well as plenty of storage and shelving for your personal belongings.

Need to sleep more? Entering the large upstairs loft you will find a full/twin bunk bed, a full-sized sleeper sofa as well as a twin trundle that pulls out from under the sofa. Additional inflatable mattress can be made available with advance notice.

Great location

Great location with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a few days in Anchorage before heading out camping. Walking distance to the Costal Trail, bike rentals, restaurants, the Anchorage Museum, and shops. The property was clean but could probably use with a little updating soon!

Family Cruise stayover

Flew in to Anchorage for a few days before taking the train to Seward for our cruise. This house was in a perfect location and we walked to everywhere we needed other than an Uber to the train. Highly recommend this house.

Pre-Cruise Stay in Anchorage

We flew into Anchorage a couple of days ahead of getting on a cruise and were looking for a non-hotel accommodation. This house was very comfortable, allowing us to both gradually adjust to the time change from the East coast as well as being a central location to explore Anchorage. Highly recommend.

Comfortable home in excellent location

Our group of six had a great visit in Anchorage at Coastal Place. The home is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is one of the best stocked with equipment and basics of any home we’ve rented. The location is perfect, walking distance to bike rentals, all of downtown, the coastal trail, a food market, etc.

Alaskan Trip

We had a great stay, the house was clean and as described. Six adults stayed in the house and there was plenty of room. If you visit in the summer months bring an eye mask for sleeping. The house was in close enough proximity to walk to town.

Decent stay in Anchorage

Overall house was adequate and had everything we needed! Could use some updating. The beds were not very comfortable especially the queen bed was hard as a rock! Good location and walkable to everything in downtown. Off street parking was nice!

Vacation

My wife, another couple and I stayed here for 7 days. It was exactly as advertised and clean. We come up for a once in a lifetime vacation and this house didn't disappoint. The only thing the house didn't have was a scale so we could wiegh our fish so I called Ryan and he brought his personal scale for us to use. If you looking to stay in Anchorage this is the place for you. It is located near the airport, stores and some great restaurants. We highly recommend this house and the owners.

Nice Clean Property

The house was clean and well kept. It has all of the amenities needed and everything was functional. The location is close to downtown. It was quiet and we didn't have any issues with traffic or city noise. The house could probably do with some updating but it was a pleasant stay for our time in Anchorage. Communications with the owner was excellent. There were no issues and we enjoyed our visit.

Best location in Anchorage

You cant beat this location in Anchorage! The house is impressive and beautiful. Hosts had the kitchen complelty stocked and I was able to cook big meals as there were 9 of us. There were extra pillows, blankets and even a couple of air mattresses. Everyone had their own sleeping area. Due to a missed communication I was unable to extend my stay another night but I would have loved to stay. Hosts are very responsive and helpful! There were even awesome toothbrushes with toothpaste built into the bristles! I loved those! My boys and their friends were very pleased with this home. When we do this again I will def be looking for this home again!

Great home base for Alaska activities

Best bakery in town is just across the street. The traffic noise and music were a distractingly loud for us-suburban types but we knew we couldn’t do better financially. No real view from the windows so not sure what qualifies the location as best. Trash can was so small we needed to take it out every hour we were up and about. Closest supermarket is in a sketchy neighborhood. Quick access to all the main roads so getting to local hikes and Costco was easy.

Perfect place to stay in downtown anchorage!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location cannot be beat. Once we arrived, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to in downtown anchorage. The beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home.

Great place to stay

The house is comfortable, clean and spacious. It is situated in a convenient area of downtown Anchorage with sufficient services, restaurants and cafes within a reasonably short flat walk radius which is an added bonus. We had a wonderful stay at this property and would highly recommend it to others.

Perfect location within walking distance to our favorite breakfast spot (Snow City Cafe). While in a neighborhood, it was also easy to get to the road to the airport. House is as advertised and more. Very comfortable and cleanly.

Winter stay in Anchorage

The home is located in a very convenient location for walking to all the downtown shops and restaurants. It’s also very close to the Coastal Trail. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Our host was great and the home was lovely.
