My kids and I are were thrilled with stay . So clean , very thought out , loved the hot tub and fire pit . It was so great to see the kids having fun and at the end they were begging to stay longer . We will certainly book again on our next trip to anchorage
This property was conveniently located for our needs. Tidy and with all the amenities our family needed. Carolyn was very easy to work with. Nice stay.
Unit was spacious, well equipped, clean and the outdoor space is amazing. Neighborhood is really good too. Communication with the owners is excellent and responsive. Great suggestions on things to do as well! If I come this way again I will definitely rebook with them. Thanks for helping to make our visit so nice and memorable!
Owner communicated promptly and explained the area well. She answered my questions promptly and was helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. Details needed to access the property were clearly stated and sent when we needed them. Home was very clean.
We had been traveling and camping in BC, the Yukon and Alaska for several weeks and stayed here for a couple of days. Was a great break. Liked the location, not in the city but everything you needed was nearby. The space was nice, we did laundry and enjoyed the hot tub. Our pup liked having a bit more space to chase his ball and play tug. Great recommendation on Southside bistro - had an excellent meal there.
Nice and comfortable apartment. The location was a great jumping off point for all our outdoor adventures while in Anchorage. The hot tub is also a great touch after days out hiking. And Carolyn was a great host, very responsive.
It was a nice and comfortable stay for our party of 4 adults. We enjoyed using the hot tub and patio for outdoor dining. Location was close to outdoor adventures and minutes from Safeway and Walgreens, and other shopping. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk. We will stay here again.
This house/apartment was a great find between our National Parks visits. The house had everything we needed and close to grocery shopping and hiking trails. Would recommend staying here while in Anchorage! We had brief communication with Carolyn to get the hot tub working, it was a quick fix and she walked us through it perfectly! Thank you!
Communication with the host was amazing and was very responsive. Very clean and easy to find. Quite area which sometimes can be an issue in anchorage. Highly recommended for anyone lookikg for a place to stay.
Love the layout. You dont feel like you're sharing a house. We will be visiting my son in AK in the Airforce more and will be using it again and referring this location.
Super cute and feels like home away from home. We stayed at two of the units and appreciated the attention to detail of this property. We would not hesitate recommending this property! Thank you so much and wish you the best for the journey ahead (:
The unit was perfect for our trip. It looks exactly as the pictures show. Plenty of storage, parking, and a large kitchen to cook in. Grocery is 5 minutes away. The location was great for going to the zoo and a day trip to Wittier.
This place was awesome! It was very clean and inviting. It was the perfect place to unwind. It was just outside of town but very accessible to stores. The outside patio was just what we needed and we took full advantage. Carolyn was super kind and very helpful. Loved her chalkboard door with all the helpful information and her top suggestions on where to visit and eat. Highly recommend!
Carolyn was graciously open to my communications from the time of booking, ty! The place was a home away from home. The cozy private sleeps to spacious stocked-with-utensils kitchen & comfortable living areas allowed for differing activities. NOW as for the great deck areas: I myself thoroughly loved all of it (my co-travelers were too tuckered out... Deck practically as big as our private area with cozy gathering areas & the fireplace💗
The roof top lounge was the highlight. Loved the covered area with a fire to keep warm. The beds were comfortable and it was reasonably quiet. The neighborhood felt safe and the location is convenient to both Anchorage and sight seeing South of the city. The property manager was available, responsive and helpful. However, there were several issues that put a damper on our stay. The kitchen was ill equipped even for light cooking. The dishes were found dirty in the cupboards. One of the kitchen sink drains was clogged. The consumables in the house were just barely stocked so that if we used anything we would need to purchase a replacement (e.g. three zip-lock bags total, one backup roll of toilet paper, about a tablespoon of dish soap left in the bottle) . We had issues with the internet and hot tub. This property has a lot of potential but needs improving.
