Rembrandtplein Hotel
Wonderful staff, excellent location, right in front of the canal, and a quaint place that fit with the experience of Amsterdam. As expected, stairs were steep and my son had a room on last floor which was very cold, but they quickly made the change to another room.

Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam
We booked this hotel for the spa facilities and were very disappointed. We weren’t told at any point that the pool was out of order, and nothing was mentioned at check-in. We were later told it would open the next day, but it didn’t. The jacuzzi and steam room were also out of order all weekend. ...
