Extremely steep staircases, the rooms are far from soundproof, you can hear every guest that walks by. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are terrible - i think they put a pillow cover on a centerblock. The area is quiet and very close to the koncert hall and museums, and plenty dining options within walking distance.

Property was functional, upkeep was fair and close to many areas in the De Piip neighborhood. Situated in a traditional Dutch home, it had no elevator only steep stairs to navigate. Decent stay, but may look for other options next time.

First time in Amsterdam. Great location, I walked nearly everywhere rather than get a bus/tram. The staff where very welcoming and made check in and check out very easy. We stayed in the quadruple room, hotel staff was nice and the room was great & clean. As mentioned by the hotel the sound isolation is not the best, you might hear people walking through the corridors in the morning but it’s really not an issue. Besides that breakfast is good, the area is nice and quiet, and within walkable (less than 15 minutes) distance from Amsterdam.
