Unfortunately upon arrival, the receptionist insisted we cancel our Expedia booking and pay them directly in cash. When I refused, this went on back n forth for sometime eventually I was able to check in. I had a local friend who helped talk to the man at reception, who didn't speak a word of English. The room I checked into stank of cigarettes and had a bad odour of stale cigarettes in the room. The following day upon check out a different member of staff apologised for the experience of the previous night and offered one nights free accomodation. Unfortunately due to the stench of stale cigarettes and the poor customer service I politely declined and made arrangements elsewhere. I would recommend paying more and avoiding this place all together.

like staff , clean , room size , staff response , fast check in , free wifi. didn't like the bed mattress in room 305 its really bad you can feel the springs in your back the truth the hotel ask me if i want to change the room but i was or ready unpacked my bags so i didn't change it. Another thing the room mattress should be the same quality for all rooms in the hotel for example rooms 505, 405 have comfy mattress but room 305 realy realy bad And another thing when you book a hotel there are basic things the hotel should provide in every room such as towels, cloth hangers, soup and you shouldn't have to call the front disk every time to provide it

The hotel is quite old and very basic. There was no iron in the room and no tea facility but was provided on request. Breakfast is really bad , no variety and kids would not like it at all , and was local food choice. There is a convenient supermarket opposite the hotel, a small burger place on the same side of the hotel. When facing the hotel on the right, food was good from there. Convenient to get JETT bus services to go to Petra, Dead Sea and plenty of cabs you can catch from outside the hotel . Yellow cabs and local cabs are cheap. The staff were friendly but limited with spoken English. If you want cheap then it's okay

No respect for loyal customers

I book a suite for 2 nights and when i arrived to the hotel the front desk told me they gave the suite for another customer so they gave us two single rooms with joint door I book the suite because the big living room but they gave us single rooms with small living room with one chair so i move my chair to my brother living room my room have no Refrigerator and the window was leaking rain in to the bed room and the bath room have no towels, soap, shampoo and one of the rooms have broken phone and hair dryer I booked in this hotel in the last 4 years more than 33 times and this how they treat loyal customers !!!! worst stay ever

Budget hotel.

During my stay the hotel was at maintenance, so it will be improved more. It has rooftop, buffet breakfast, free shoes surface cleaning machines. Ten minutes taxi or so to JTT bus station for Petra. Carrefour grocery store and bank nearby. Room is big.

Good hotel

I asked for any floor but the fifth bec. Bad internet there the front desk gave me room in the forth floor i went there and opened the door to see a man in his sleeping cloth and screaming on me :) thank goodness he is not with his wife :) or I would be dead right now the front disk gave rong room !!! First time ever that happened with me In the end he gave me room in the fifth floom but with good internet connection

i Stayed for one night at Diamond Hotel , but defiantly when i get back from my business trip i ll book at diamond hotel , its a 3 star hotel but its look like 5 stars , you ll expect the warming welcome from the staff , good smell , very clean , very comfort rooms , helpful front disk ... lovely stay good service
