Another wonderful Thanksgiving
This Holiday Beach vacation home is perfect for our entire family to enjoy together. The surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful and the cottage is cozy and bright. Highly recommended!

Excellent property
We enjoyed the stay immensely. Recommend it highly. Do not expect to find any food stuffs or spices in the kitchen. We were surprised that even salt and pepper were absent. Bring EVERYTHING you need and have a wonderful experience.

A two-day getaway to remember
The cottage is relatively new, and well kept. Someone has given a lot of thought to the needs of guests, well provided for with linen and paper products [thank you!]. The cottage-keeper obviously takes pride and care in this property. Nice job! Thank you too ERCA for the opportunity this cottage offered us for such a refreshing stay "in nature".

We Loved It!
Tastefully but practically decorated. We all had our own level of privacy due to the layout. Loved the secluded site. Central air and a dishwasher were a bonus that we have never before enjoyed at any of our previous cottages. We will definitely be back!

A quiet retreat
This is a pretty little cottage in a private setting with many mature trees, and a short walk to the beach. You can see the lake from the cottage.The cottage is very clean and well-stocked with all of the supplies you will need. If you plan to cook, just bring your favourite spices. The cottage is a short drive to several local wineries that have good restaurants. We enjoyed Paglione for pizza, Cooper's Hawk for lunch, North 42 for lunch and dinner and View Pointe for a light lunch and a beautiful vista of Lake Erie. With one bathroom the cottage is perfect for a couple, or a couple with 1 - 2 kids. It will accommodate more if everyone gets along ;) Enjoy, relax, and bring your binoculars.

March break cabin chill
My family of 6 stayed here over the weekend and really enjoyed it!! Place comes with everything u could need for the weekend,, the indoor fireplace was pretty cool for the kids to see,, its not real flames so the kids can walk up and look without worry,, Also it is located right in the heart of holiday beach so no need to drive anywhere once you get there.. My little ones enjoyed this experience more than all the big water parks. Just nice to be outside and walk the beach and they felt it too we will be looking forward to returning this year a few times!!

Beautiful, quiet space
Lovely private cabin on a large conservation area. The winter means no other car traffic in the area and limited pedestrians in the area. View of Lake Erie which was magnificent to watch thunder storms across.

A gem in the woods
If you like to walk on the beach, enjoy seeing bald eagles and like the quiet of the woods, this nicely appointed cottage is for you. It was wonderful even with a snowstorm added in.

Happy New Years with a twist
It’s Dec. 31 at around 2:30 when we decided to go for a walk before heading out to the store. I was the first one out of the cottage and yelled back to my wife to lock the door when she came out. She locked the door lock instead of the padlock and we’re completely locked out. We figured this was the end of our stay because there’s no way anyone would respond to our SOS on new years eve. We made one call to the property management and they responded without delay and sent us help within the hour. We are forever grateful for the support we received when we needed them most. Thank you so much for saving our new year.!!

Very lovely cottages. We visited in mid October, so park was closed. Nice wooded area and cottage is right on water. Only negative is TV didn’t have reception in living room and no TV in bedroom. Cell service was spotty when not connected to WiFi. Surrounding area is mostly farmland. Restaurants and shopping areas are 30-45 minutes away.

A Perfect Thanksgiving
Holiday Beach is a Thanksgiving tradition for our family that started with a beachside picnic and transformed into a week long getaway. This property is a private hidden gem that offers both beauty and convenience. The location could not be better with a clear unobstructed sunset and nature at the doorstep. The cottage is clean and so well laid out. Another reason to love Amherstburg:)

Our 3rd October stay here, we love it. Weather was fantastic-park is well kept, wonderful walking trails, beach was clean and so relaxing-fantastic sunsets. Cottage is very comfortable-has lots of necessities -just bring your food & drinks. We’ve already booked for next year too!

Peaceful Property
We spent Sept. 18-22, 2022 at this lakefront cottage, set in a peaceful park. The cottage is pretty and has a huge yard and deck with great deck furniture!! The set-up inside was nice and comfortable. You could potentially sleep 12 people with all the sleeping options, but the cottage would be crowded with that many people if the weather was bad and you had to stay indoors. The primary bedroom bed was very comfortable!! We found the furnace fan to be quite loud, but were able to set the temperature for night so it wouldn't keep us up. Our contact person, Lisa, was wonderful to deal with. She answered any questions we had, fairly quickly. Access to the park and cottage was easy. There is no laundry in the cottage, but there is a laundry building in the park, a short drive away, which was handy. The cost for one load to wash or dry is $1.50 each. Wash and dry times are listed in the laundry room. The cottage includes lots of towels and kitchen ware, with comfortable seating at the kitchen island. The living room furniture is also very comfortable. There is no dining room, but we didn't miss that at all. Some things we found would be helpful in the kitchen that were missing were salt & pepper, saran wrap and tinfoil. But those are simple enough to purchase if you need them. Not a game changer with deciding to rent again or not. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would consider renting again in the future.

Beautiful Cabin Getaway!
Cabin was very cute and perfect for what we were looking for! The yard is huge and there's a great firepit that with a healthy amount of wood to start with! Just know the beach is public access and there may be folks who walk up the property during the day looking to get back in the park. Park management would advise people back to the beach which was nice, just don't get TOO comfy with the windows open. The evenings were quiet however, which was perfect for dark sky gazing!

Enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful views of lake. Great being in a space not surrounded by other people. Able to walk the beach and trails in the woods. Cottage was clean and kitchen fully stocked. 15 min drive to the town of Amherstburg. Will definitely be back and would recommend use during any season of the year!

Secluded Lakeview
This is a perfect little cottage getaway on the lake! 4 adults and 1 infant were in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with hand and dish soap, kitchen towels, steak knives, sharp knifes for prepping food, measuring cups (not liquid), pots and pans, wine glasses, even a nice platter we used for a charcuterie board. Bathroom is nice and spacious, towels and soap are provided. The bunk-bed room fit the baby's crib easily and parents slept on the pull-out couch in the spare room. All furnishings are new, modern and comfortable, although the bed was just OK. The fireplace is fake but has a steam component that creates 'smoke' - it's actually very cool and we loved it! Especially with having a crawling baby. The lake view was great, we saw many ducks and birds. There was duck hunting going on in the park while we were there so there were gun shots heard in the mornings, but nothing crazy bothersome. We got out for a short walk to the trout pond and lookout tower, but it was cold, rainy and windy. We would love to come back in nicer weather!
