"This place has a ton of potential, and the owner is a super nice guy. The house is old, and it's age shows. When we stayed, the owner was in the process of making some improvements, which honestly need to be made. He was painting the exterior and fixing up the yard, but got derailed by a very invasive construction project, which should very soon be finished. He also mentioned that he was planning to get new carpet, which I was glad to hear, because the carpet is definitely showing its age. The front room, the bathrooms, and the kitchen are all very nice and the bathrooms seem to have been updated to some measure. The bedrooms and other areas could use some new furniture and some sprucing up. The best thing about this house is its size and its capacity to sleep a large group. I can't recall what the listing says, but, if you have people willing to sleep on couches, I think you could easily sleep as many as 14 people in this house. There are beds and couches everywhere, at least a couple of which are in odd places. The hot tub is very nice and it was very clean. The location is also spectacular, right across the street from Laramie's best park, and a short walk from a nice movie theater. If you are a real stickler for properties that are new and precisely maintained, then this house is not for you. But, if you're on the easier-going side and don't mind an old house that feels old, then you'll find a great value here, especially if you have a large group."

"Excellent communication! We could not figure out the air conditioning and messaged the host for more information and they came right over.Did not realize this property is a duplex. Was not a big deal this time but I would have much preferred to know that in advance. The remodel to convert this garage into half of the duplex was completed by someone with very little skill. If you don’t mind poor construction or unfinished trimmings and sloppy finishes it’s not a big deal.The house did suit our needs and therefore if we ignored all of those quirks it was wonderful. I don’t type those here to be negative but I think people should know as it is something that I felt was not really noticeable in the photos or listing. It certainly did not wreck our stay but they are all strange and extremely noticeable.The size is large and has a nice gathering space in the living and kitchen areas or outside."

"Great little place in Laramie in a very convenient location.Good communication from the owner.It had everything we needed and was close to both the university and to the very cute downtown.It was some of the hottest time in the area but the AC worked well. Whew!We'd highly recomment the Altitude Brewery for both their beer and food--as well as Prarie Rose cafe for breakfast--their green chili burrito is outstanding!"
