"This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy. "

"We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. "This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. She even called the staff in to prepare a delicious dinner for us, including an amazing spread of fried rice fit for a feast. The staff then helped drive our tuk-tuk up to the property and prepared an incredible breakfast for us the next morning. The service was exceptional, and the views from our room overlooking the water were breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here!"
