We arrived here after an 8 day tour for a six night stay. We found the room to be spotless, comfortable and spacious. The staff were amazing, particularly the general manager who looked after our every need and request.
The hotel has its own private beach, plus a swimming pool with gorgeous views out to the Indian Ocean. A trip to the nearest tourist friendly town Hikkaduwa is only a short 15-20 tuk tuk ride. Unfortunately there is not much to cater for tourists in the town of Ambalangoda...

Decent boutique hotel. Quiet, clean, and a private beach at your feet, literally.
Very good in-house restaurant, and other eating spots closeby if required.
Rooms are air-conditioned, with TV and good rainfall showers. Staff polite and attentive, my room AC was deemed faulty after a few hours from check-in and was fixed by a technician within 30min after reporting.
Walking distance to Ambalangoda town with all conveniences and supermarkets, and tuks available via Uber if the return requires a...

Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!

Fantastic hotel on beautiful beach. Rooms were spacious, well decorated and clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only fault was the lift broke down. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
