"I had an excellent solo stay at Clarion Hotel Admiral — truly the best Mother’s Day gift! The location is perfect, and the views are absolutely stunning. Waking up to that scenery each day made my holiday feel extra special. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how warm, welcoming, and attentive the staff were. It made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh and well-presented options. All in all, a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return!"

"Room was small, clean, comfy bed with nice linens. Location was very good for walking and transit. Buffet breakfast had a fantastic selection of hot and cold food. Great coffee. Staff were very friendly. "

"Unfortunately the hotel chain was undergoing a strike so staff was minimal (albeit very helpful). The room was ok after a paid upgrade. Heater did not work and typical bathroom amenities were not present. Breakfast was great. Dinner was disappointing. One dish and dessert for fixed price of NOK 31. Instead of a full buffet. The hotel is in the suburbs but the tram to town was great. Be aware that there is about a 1/2 km walk to the station from the hotel. "

"We were moved to Scandic Byeparken because of the hotel staff strike. Very cramped room. Reception staff unsmiling and not terribly helpful. Morning staff much better - friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is first-rate. the hotel is very well situated."
