"Everything was very nice and up to par with hotel standards, however the casino did not have any blackjack dealers due to "low demand"... Blackjack is the only reason I would go to a casino"

"We enjoyed our stay here … check-in was easy and quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional and kind. The breakfast was good and the staff worked diligently to keep everything stocked and clean. The rooms are very small but up-to-date and comfortable. As with other hotels, only shampoo and body wash is provided (no hair conditioner or lotion). Happily, Kleenex tissues are included, as is a hairdryer. Ice is available in the lobby. We did not try the lounge bar but it looked inviting. The location is walkable to the main sites in Trier - about 20 minutes thru nice neighborhoods. There is a nice walking trail along the river behind the hotel with a restaurant or two."

"Everything was excellent. Breakfast with a rich selection, room was clean. I only missed a mirror above the sink. Separate entrance."

"Free parking was a plus and we had a room with a view of the Roman bridge. However there is no air conditioning and with the sun shining in the room all afternoon it was hot until sundown when it started to cool down. The old town center is about a 2km walk from the hotel. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, but also several nightclubs and sex shops that may be of concern to parents with young children"
