Business suite was clean and quiet. Had electric baseboards heat with an adjustable thermostat. So no noisy fan cycling on and off all night. Perfect temperature. Had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Equipped with a coffeemaker, microwave and fridge. Fridge was quiet. Pillows were the right thickness. Mattress could use a topper as it was a little on the hard side. Staff were responsive to requests. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent value and friendly staff. The room had a stocked kitchen, separate living area and bedroom. Restaurants, bars, markets are all within walking distance. Would absolutely stay again.

My friends and I were in Altona for one night; we made the trip from South Dakota in the U.S. and were in anitoba as a bucketlist item to spend a night in all the Canadian provinces. We got to the hotel rather late, and the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. It's an older property, but the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Kind and considerate staff

I'm a U.S. citizen and was stuck in Canada, waiting for my passport to arrive in the mail. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, considerate, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. Each time I extended my stay (ended up waiting about a week for my passport), they asked if I was okay and ensured I was able to afford the extension. While my passport never arrived (I ended up having to travel to the Consulate for an emergency replacement), the Altona staff were so great, making the experience so much better. Really appreciate their kindness.

I have stayed there a couple of times and the Beds are hard and old they need to be replaced. Also there is a old stuffy smoke smell in the rooms that we have stayed in. Service is good.

We spent two nights in the business class area. Clean, well kept, functional. We wanted to extend our stay by one night and had to be moved to the B block. Much rougher, stained floors, chipped countertops, and the hot water ran out during a shower.

It was unique, the toilet didn't flush unless you lifted the lid and arm manually, fan in bathroom did not work. Exterior looked like a old worksheet. Holes in the couch, dirty curtains, oven didn't work. Staff was so nice!

Excellent mattresses and pillows. Great sleep! Not enough bath towels for three. There was only one cup in the room. The breakfast coffee was excellent! Best burger and fries of the year! Oh, we couldn’t get the t.v. to work. Even called in a man friend who couldn’t get it to work either. Yes, we followed the instructions.

Small town motel. Basic accommodations.

Arrived on July 1. Restaurant was closed. Kitchen closed. Fortunately a Tim Horton coffee shop was only a block away. And provided us something to eat for supper. Left before the breakfast “included” in the hotel was available. We left at 7am. Breakfast started at 8am. Room was clean. If you only need a place to sleep, then this meets the mark. The description of the hotel says there’s a casino. It did have VLT’s in the bar. ☺️
