"We had a lovely stay at Pan Haus during our Halstatt trip. The bed and breakfast is run by a warm and friendly couple and our room faced the beautiful hills. The location is very convenient, close to the bus stop and train. This was our first experience with a WhatsApp check-in and code entry, which was a pleasant surprise. "This is a top hotel for the town and very nice. We stayed here for the pool and waterfront but only ended up going in the lake which was beautiful. We loved how there was a bar and lounge chairs, although I wish they had service so we didn’t have to go to the bar ourselves. The buffet breakfast stood out as 10/10. The location is great and the staff were helpful. The only bad thing was the decor was a little weird."

"Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WC’s and we’re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I don’t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time. We loved sitting on our balcony and sipping some wine from the local store down the street and enjoying the views in the evening. There is a nice common area with a microwave, small refrigerator, tea kettle and instant coffee and tea available free of charge. Overall a great stay in a beautiful little town."
