Top Alpine Foothills Hotel Reviews

COOL MAMA Hotel Salzburg
10/10 Excellent
"The air conditioning was wonderful, the hotel room was clean and spacious, and we loved the free public transportation around the corner from the hotel. We would absolutely stay again. No complaints except that I accidentally booked for 1 person instead of two and the fee was 40 extra euro per night (I thought he said it would be 40 euro total for my two nights, not 80 total) so there was a miscommunication."

Cocoon Salzburg
10/10 Excellent
"Very charming hotel with a great location to the main train station. The hotel even provided a complimentary public transit pass with our stay!"

Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Imlauer & Bräu. The staff were wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The location was excellent - very close to Mirabell Palace and Gardens and within easy walking distance of Salzburg's main sights, while still being peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would happily return on a future trip to Salzburg, and would highly recommend this hotel to others."

AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was brilliant, the main attraction was the setting, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. It is also a 10 min walk to one castle and a short bus ride to the other. Would highly recommend."

Altstadthotel Wolf-Dietrich
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Good size room and air conditioning worked well in very warm weather. Staff was helpful and friendly."

HYPERION Hotel Salzburg
10/10 Excellent
"The Hyperion is located steps away from The Mirabell Gardens and from there you can easily reach all of the old town by foot. The location can’t be beat ! Every detail in the room is wonderful, the bed and pillows were very comfortable the high ceiling and double windows brought in the light and felt refreshing. The morning breakfast is excellent and the staff were so helpful."

IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg
8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay overall. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and everything was fresh and delicious. The only downside was the Wi-Fi. The signal was very weak and barely worked during our stay, which was frustrating. Another issue was the bathtub. In my opinion, it wasn't very safe to step out of. It was quite high, and the end where you step out seemed to lift slightly, making it feel unstable. Aside from those issues, we had a pleasant stay."

Hotel Schlosskrone
10/10 Excellent
"I was traveling with my husband and our two teenage sons. We only stayed at this hotel for one night but I would have happily stayed longer. The four of us had plenty of space and the room was clean. There was AC and it was quiet. It was a 2 min walk from the station which was very convenient. The best part was the breakfast. They had a juicer so you could make fresh juice, coffee machines with multiple options, different teas etc. for food there were different pastries and breads with several jams and honey. They had hot foods - fried eggs, scrambled eggs, meats, crepes, pancakes. They had cereals and yogurts. They even had a chocolate fountain with bananas and strawberries which our sons took full advantage of. Would stay here again and would recommend."

Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg
8/10 Good
"Very close to train station and main bus stop and places to eat. However in spite of one member of family not able to travel to Salzburg, the city tax was taken for the missing person, which didn’t happen in Innsbruck or Munich. Fridge inside the room didn’t work and they didn’t replace it. All food was rotten because of a non-functioning fridge."
