"The deluxe double room was the nicest room by far! The bed was super comfortable (not the hard Greek mattresses you normally find), nice bathroom and the room has everything you need (eg. bug screen on windows, fridge and etc). "We had a negative interaction with one of the front desk staff and the assistant front desk manager. We book an ocean view room with a balcony and received a room with a half of an ocean view room as the other half was blocked by a building. It is the only room that has this issue. We also waited an extensive amount of time to be allowed into our room while numerous guests who arrived after us were able to get in theirs. We didn't get into our room until 25 minutes after check in while we waited hours. When we expressed our dissatisfaction about the half ocean view, we received differing responses from the front desk and the assistant manager. The assistant manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and condescending. What redeemed the hotel from our horrible check in experience: 1) location! The hotel is on Mylopotas beach, which is beautiful. There are sunbeds on the beach free of charge for guests, which is a nice benefit. 2) the rest of the staff! Aside from these two, everyone else, and I mean everyone, went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Shoutouts to - Alex who worked the beach, Visalis the bartender at the beach, and Vivi the bartender at the pool bar. And, every staff member who walked by us, smiled, said hello, asked how we were doing, if we needed anything, etc. Would definitely return! And hope not to see the assistant front desk manager."
