Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa

Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"The Coach House room 43 is very pretty, perfect for a romantic getaway. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Staff polite. Grounds well kept. Some areas of cleaning need attention, stained upholstery and mould around bottom of shower let the room down a bit but overall this did not spoil my stay."

Fossil Bank, a luxury detached retreat in the heart of Alnmouth, with parking

10/10 Excellent
"Fossil Bank is a well equipped and luxurious home which is wonderfully situated in the lovely village of Alnmouth. It is on the high street close to shops and restaurants, but is quiet and has private parking and a walled outside area for dining and sitting out. The rooms are comfortable with quality bedding. Communication with the host was excellent, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome (the Toblerone was very welcome). The home is in a great location to explore all of the sites of Northumberland, including the wonderful castle and gardens at Alnwick."
