Charming "Vintage" Style Mountain Cabin Under the Pines

  • Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
    “The Western Coachman” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern)
    This one of a kind, historic cabin has been completely refurbished and includes updated furniture, fixtures and appliances. The log cabin is located in a park-like setting across the street from the main office and store. It sits under large full grown evergreen trees and gives you that feeling of a “long ago” mountain cabin, yet it has modern amenities. Sit behind the cabin under the trees or in the enclosed porch and just listen to the Taylor River flowing by just a short distance away. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak up your vacation.
    • Approximately 400 square feet
    • Queen bed in bedroom, sofa in living room
    • Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer
    • Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent
    • Parking for 2 vehicles and a trailer (Additional vehicles and trailers may require parking separate from the cabin. Fees may apply.)
    All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional $20/night/dog, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

Nice Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I felt the cabin was expensive, although the hotels in Crested Butte were 2 to 3 times more. That being said, the cabin was very nice, clean, and took dogs. I would definitely choose it again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent 5 nights there in September while we ran trails around the Crested Butte/Marble area. Cabin was cozy and clean and had enough parking for the truck/trailer beside it and the Jeeps in back. Great location with the BBQ restaurant right across the street (food was awesome, by the way). Property was well maintained and clean with doggie bags at the pet relief areas. All staff were very friendly and gift shop was nicely stocked (and shirts were on sale as it was the end of the season). Would definitely stay here again!

We've been coming yearly and have stayed in cabins and mini-homes and on this visit in Cabin 1, which is now our favorite!The resort staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating....we so enjoy our stays here.

They met all our requests concerning a special event held at the Pavilion. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The cabins are unique and well maintained. The prices are quite reasonable. Many cabins are located close to the river. Numerous activities are available for guests and visitors to enjoy. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone interested in staying in the Gunnison/Crested Butte area. The free bus service to/from CB and Gunnison can be easily accessed.

It’s a perfectly located property with great food, rustic yet accommodating facilities, and a family friendly environment. Good for active folks and for just relaxing in the mountain air. Fly shop is great and so is the Smoke House. We make new friends among the staff each year. Made reservations for next year!
