"This place was amazing!! Cannot fault it we had the best time, very close to a lot of major attractions, the market down the road was lovely as well. The apartment was spotless, bed was very comfortable and the building was stunning. Also the A/C was amazing and was a joy on some of the very hot days we had. "Our host Raphael was wonderful. He met us at the apartment and assisted with our luggage. He was willing to answer any questions during our stay. The place itself was very clean and included all the basic kitchen amenities. It’s in a convenient location with many places to eat that were great and at a reasonable price. If someone has mobility issues, this place may be difficult as it’s on the fourth floor with steep stairs. There is no elevator. "

"Good apartments. Comfortable and with good location (not the best, but good enough). The only downside is that we had a 4th floor room, with no elevator, so I recommend you travel light. Would stay here again. "

"The breakfast was amazing! It was included and we could order off the menu or eat from the beautiful buffet. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the views from our hotel room of Porto reached the river! We walked everywhere, so plenty of things to do within walking distance and felt very safe. "The staff was friendly, courteous & helpful throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival.
Our double superior room with a balcony was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The balcony was large, but the view could’ve been better. The placement of the glass shower within the room’s living space, rather than the bathroom, was somewhat odd to us and could be uncomfortable depending upon one’s travel companion and the lack of privacy, but we got used to it.
The location of the hotel was great!
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at one of the Wine & Books properties again based upon our recent experience.
