Staffs are lovely and helpful but the conditions of property and all the facilities are very old, not clean, out of maintenance. Not much useful for kids as the playground is small and not well maintained. The sessions of kids club is limited and no free indoor softplay is available.

Amazing break

Luxery villia spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping the area is quiet and surrounded by well kept golf courses the service at this complex is exerilant and nothing was to much trouble there was a communal pool and some where to eat dinner And have breakfast if wished to we are looking forward to returing in the near future xx

Good resort, nice villa but pool needed repair and

Family holiday to celebrate my wife’s forth coming 60th birthday. Needed somewhere that would keep my 2 1/2 year old grandson amused, and this resort met that requirement, good pool area with kids trampoline and sandpit, and separate kids club. Villa was a great size we had 7 adults and one child in the party and plenty of room. The Villa itself was clean and a great base, my only negative comment would be the swimming pool at the villa, this was clean enough to swim in ….just, and it was clear that it needed repairing as about 30% of the small wall tiles were missing. If the pool hadn’t been in need of repair I would have given this a review a excellent for all aspects

stort och rymligt hus med pool 2x3 meter

Det verkar bara vara de allra största husen som har den stora poolen. Husen är vända så att man får antingen förmiddagssol eller eftermiddagssol. Vill man nyttja poolen större delen av dagen i sol får man försäkra sig om ett hus åt rätt håll, viket man gärna gjorde åt mig!

Perfect family holiday

Wonderful stay at Martinhal Quinta. The townhouse was perfect for us with 2 upstairs bedrooms and downstairs living area. The kitchen was really well equipped. We loved the main site pool and dining area. Really tasty lunches and breakfasts, and excellent waiting staff who were great with little kids!

This is the second time in 3 years to stay at the Martinhal Quinta. We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa which was very clean and had all the amenities and more needed for a young family of 5. Everything was catered for including high chair and stair gates. The staff are all child friendly, giving high fives and making sure everything is ok. I highly recommend the Martinhal Quinta and also recommend a car hire just for convenience to visit local restaurants and the surrounding area.

Family holiday

Visited with my wife, daughter and 2 grandsons in a 4 bed villa with pool. Lots of space inside and very well equiped ... pool fenced off for safety of grandkids as requested. Breakfast buffet was good and staff very patient. Kids Club for 3 year old grandson was well organised and he enjoyed himself. Local golf excellent.

We'll probably return for another holiday

The Martinhal Quinta is great if your kids are between age 2 and 7 ish. It's a shame that the kids club and the pool area are at opposite ends of the resort but it's not a problem. Overall the staff are excellent but could do more to organise activities especially on poor weather days

Nice surprise

Pleasant surprise when we arrived the villa was huge and maintained at a very high standard, everything you needed and more. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Little Deli on site with great fresh produce including bread & croissants. Only downside Quinta do Lago is not a town it's purpose built complex's around golf courses all very nice but no cafes, bars or restaurants (apart from one) other than on the complex which are expensive, you need to hire a car to get into the towns. Driving is nice and relaxed but a few strange junctions and signs. For any wildlife lovers its a good spot with Ria de Formosa nature reserve 20 mins walk away, Flamingo's, Hoopoe etc. also Red necked Nightjar in the local pine wood, would definitely go back.

Lovely villa. Nice pool area. Good choice of breakfast. Downside you can't pay cash at the pool everything has to go to the villa. Can't pay cash in the shop. Needs adult only pool far to many kids by the pool so was noisy.

Fantastic resort for families to book.

We had a very nice villa with private pool. The villa had all the equipment a family with (young) children needs and also had the necessary safety features. The food is the restaurant was very good and they also had a special menu for babies, just brilliant!

Great for families

Cannot fault the villa at all. Last year we stayed there in a 4 bed detached villa and this year in a 3 bed townhouse as we had one less in party. We were worried it was going to be much smaller in comparison but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s great to have the communal pool to visit too and there is plenty of play equipment to keep children entertained. The breakfast is excellent if you want a day off. My only complaint is that although the villas were super clean, the toilet facilities at the pool were less so and not checked regularly.
