Wonderful, tranquil retreat in the Morvan

We just came back from an amazingly relaxing few days in Philippe's little gem. The host is super nice and friendly, very patient with my limited french skills. The retreat is one of a kind. It is as quiet as it gets. The only sound one hears are the birds and the wind in the trees. We had never experienced anything like that and will be back for sure. It was the most relaxing vacation! Thank you very much, Philippe!

Wonderful and tranquil retreat in the Morvan

De Morvan is schitterend

Het huis was best ok, hoewel onhandig dat de badkamer en wc beneden waren en direct in de woonkamer/keuken uitkwamen. Het huis was prima voor 2 personen, maar met 3 of 4 hadden wij het te klein gevonden, zeker bij slecht weer. er is nl maar 1 bank, dus niet echt een zitje waar 4 personen lekker kunnen zitten. Dan moet je aan tafel zitten.Verder vonden wij dat er buiten te weinig privacy was. We waren van de eigenaar gescheiden door een stukje doek. Je kon alles van elkaar horen, ook als hij dus bezoek had (kleinzoon die paar dagen kwam logeren) of de hond buiten liet lopen. Ook hoorde je vaak bij hem binnen een vogel fluiten, ook vroeg in de ochtend.De eigenaar is heel aardig en voorkomend. Dus hij probeerde zeker wel uit zichzelf rekening met ons te houden, maar doordat je zo dicht op elkaar zit voelde het voor ons toch behoorlijk onvrij.Als wij dit alles hadden geweten zouden we niet voor dit huis hebben gekozen, wel voor de omgeving.

Erholung pur für Naturliebhaber

Eine sehr schöne ruhige Unterkunft auf einem gepflegten Grundstück. Der Vermieter war nett und hat uns trotz Sprachbarrieren gut geholfen. Das Hauses ist gut und hübsch eingerichtet, man kann sich wohlfühlen.

Very nice relaxing place

what a nice place to completely unwind. everything is present in the tastefully furnished apartment. good bed (always important). are you writing a book? then you come here to relax and beautiful inspiring texts. Do you have a family with two young children? There is also plenty for them to do in the very spacious garden. swings, cottage, table tennis and jieu de boule. 1 minus. the large sofa is not comfortable. you slide off it. very nice and attentive host.

Petite fugue au cœur du Morvan

Très bel appartement aménagé avec goût et efficacité ! Pratique, convivial au calme Dans un grand parc, équipé de table de Ping Pong, piste de boules, hamac avec possibilité de manger dehors ou à l’intérieur. Proche des lacs permettant de nombreuses balades à pieds ou en vélo (c’était notre cas) et se reposer au calme A recommander en couple ou en famille Très bon accueil Ps : prévoir tapette à mouche ou bombe pour les citadins comme nous qui n’en ont pas l’habitude et pour des enfants, l’escalier qui monte aux chambres est un peu raide!! Parfait je recommande tout à fait
